This cute little cat came up to me as I was walking along...she was very curious about my camera. I snapped this photo then she rolled on the ground. When I looked at her tag it said, "my name is Ciao"

He told me a story

I asked this man what he was staring at so intently. He said "my neighborhood". He does not live in my neighborhood, but he was looking at my street. I said "do you live in my neighborhood?" and he said "no, but I designed the houses".

My House was built in 1929. The man told me he knew my house, because he designed my home.The man told me exactly what the inside of my house looked like. The size of the rooms, the windows, the brick and plaster. I was amazed. We talked for a long time. I invited him to come to my house so that he could see it. I enjoyed talking to him.

I was trying to take a picture of this fence when I saw this huge lock. It is probably from the Great Gold Rush of 1849. I like the detail and the webs.

I love benches, fences and doors, this is an old Victorian near my neighborhood. I like the bright red bench and the detail on the railing. A good way to sit and watch the world go by.

I saw these two bikes and I thought of the parent and child that rode them there. I have the exact same basket on my bike.

It was a beautiful morning and I decided to grab my camera and take a walk. As I was taking a photo this lovely couple walked up to me and asked if I took photos for Google maps.

This is Matt and Ellie. They live in a big yellow and red Victorian house that I can see from my back deck. As it turns out, they are photographers too!

They said they had not taken photos in a long time, but Ellie had a camera. She took a picture of me taking a picture of their house.

Matt and Ellie asked me to take their picture. Matt invited me to have breakfast with them next Sunday. It was a beautiful day to meet my neighbors.

There is something about cats, big or small, their eyes captivate me. This is one of two litter mates that were playing together. I was fortunate to get several shots of them

I was about to use this little bowl as a place to throw my cherry pits, but it made a fairly good presentation. These Rainier cherries are so good!

I love these silly little guys. They seem top love me too. They follow me around on my bike and they come up to my back door to beg for food...I give them popcorn...I am sure it is a delicacy for them!

Now that I can ride my bicycle I had this insane idea to start the "Bicycle Project. I discovered that riding a bike with a camera on my neck, stopping and taking photos is not that easy. But I started it and this is the first photo of "The Bicycle Project"

I had to take this through thick glass, so I used my telephoto and backed up a bit...I think it worked!

I love my bike. I used a RAW preset and a touch of Topaz Adjust to give it a snappy look.

There is something about big cats that intrigues me. I found these Jaguars to be so beautiful. I hope you like them!

Most of the animals at the zoo are rescue animals. If the zoo did not take them they may not have survived. This zoo has been designed to give the animals their natural habitat and to reduce the intrusion of humans as much as possible. I do not normally like zoos, but I would rather see these beautiful animals survive than be mistreated.

I love this old plate. I used a RAW photoshop action called "The New Black" by Harold Lloyd with a few tweaks of my own of course!

This squirrel was running up and down a tree, fighting with leaves and then he started to tease me. When I got too close he stood his ground as if to say "I will jump on your leg if you get any closer." I finally gave him some seeds to eat and he was my pal.
