Coneflowers!

A very big old lock

I was trying to take a picture of this fence when I saw this huge lock. It is probably from the Great Gold Rush of 1849. I like the detail and the webs.

Red bench on a balcony
I love benches, fences and doors, this is an old Victorian near my neighborhood. I like the bright red bench and the detail on the railing. A good way to sit and watch the world go by.

I saw these two bikes and I thought of the parent and child that rode them there. I have the exact same basket on my bike.

It was a beautiful morning and I decided to grab my camera and take a walk. As I was taking a photo this lovely couple walked up to me and asked if I took photos for Google maps.
This is Matt and Ellie. They live in a big yellow and red Victorian house that I can see from my back deck. As it turns out, they are photographers too!
They said they had not taken photos in a long time, but Ellie had a camera. She took a picture of me taking a picture of their house.
Matt and Ellie asked me to take their picture. Matt invited me to have breakfast with them next Sunday. It was a beautiful day to meet my neighbors.

Up a tree ~ Su un albero ~
I love these silly little guys. They seem top love me too. They follow me around on my bike and they come up to my back door to beg for food...I give them popcorn...I am sure it is a delicacy for them!
